Two new books of my photography are available from
http://www.blurb.com/. The badges at the top right of this blog will take you to the books where you can preview them. Dreamlandscape is a collection of unique landscapes from last year's Australia trip, and Strange Tales of the American Desert is a collection of my Western travels during 2000-2003. It's got aliens, cowboys, crime, hot chicks, crazy animals and more. And, of course, Western Zen remains available. I'm really proud of these books and think they're probably the best outlet for viewing photographs. Too many hands involved in the gallery scene.

Here's a couple more Salton Sea photographs done 4x5 b+w. JPG Magazine has a photo section this month called "If Hell Had Water" and yes indeedy it's about the Salton Sea! What a perfect description for such a cool place for photography. Very inspiring, like White Sands in New Mexico or the Superstition Mountains near my house. It's good to have places where you can keep going to that well and feeling creative.
