So I shot two fantastic models at night this week. Night shooting is really a roll of the dice, it's slow and there's a lot of fighting with the equipment and the models can't move as much and I can't move as much because I'm on a tripod and it's cold and I have trouble seeing to focus. Sometimes it is hard to tell if you even have any good pictures at all.
Having said all of that, there is a real element of magic to what you can create at a night setting, with strange ambient light and darkness as your backdrop. Sometimes I would wonder if the models would turn to me and say, "you know I'm not like other boys" and tear my head clean off.
